2011 Season Review For CKR

By: Joe Burrage

At the beginning of the 2011 season Chad Kemenah wanted to be more consistent every time his Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks, Hampshire Powered, MS Motorsports, Maxim, sprinter hit the racing surface.  Kemenah and crew member Adam Brough put in countless hours at the track and shop to run with the best sprint car series in the world.  On the final night of the season at the Dirt Track at Charlotte, Kemenah drove a patient race and he crossed the finish line in the 10th position when everything was all said done.

“The 2011 season was a roller coaster ride for all of us,” said Kemenah.  “We had some really good nights and we definitely had some rough ones but we kept battling every night.  I have to thank Adam Brough for all of his hard work in 2011, and I also have to thank our sponsors Tom and Fran Chiappelli of Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks, Mark Stockinger, Jeff Winter, Kevin Grubb of Keystate Ag Service, Chuck Merrill at Maxim Chassis, Champion Racing XP Performance Lubricants, Accu Force Shocks, Kears Speed Shop, TP Wings, Banshee Graphics and I can’t forget about Bob Hampshire, Bob does so much for our race team and his motors are top notch.  I also have to thank my wife Tracy, she handles so much of the behind the scenes stuff to keep this race team above water and I could not do this with out her.”

The 2011 World of Outlaws Season has been over for a few weeks now and looking back at the final stats Kemenah showed some major improvements this past season.  One of the major areas of focus was qualifying; Kemenah was able to grab four fast time awards in 2011 along with numerous top five qualifying efforts.  Kemenah also steered his Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks No.63 sprinter to five top five finishes and 20 top ten finishes as well.

“Looking back at our season we really improved in qualifying and that’s a very important thing when you race against the World of Outlaws,” says Kemenah.  “We were consistently timing in the top ten almost every night we raced and then we would have troubles in our heat race and that’s not a good thing.  Unfortunately we did not win a race in 2011 but we came close a few times and we also had some bad luck strike us at Williams Grove in the summer but we will bounce back, I guarantee you.”

Chad Kemenah Racing also wants to thank Tom and Fran Chiappelli who own Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks.  Tom and Fran have helped Chad Kemenah Racing since July of 2009 and will not be sponsoring the No.63 car in 2012.

“Tom and Fran Chiappelli are both tremendous people that are passionate about the sport of sprint car racing,” said Kemenah.  “I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for our racing program, they have done way more than I could have asked for and I wish them the best of luck in the future.”

Right now Chad Kemenah and crew member Adam Brough are busy getting things ready for the 2012 World of Outlaws Season that kicks off on Friday, February 17th at Volusia Speedway Park located in Barberville, Florida.  Kemenah is looking to secure a truck and trailer for the upcoming season and also has a few of his sponsors coming back for next year. Jeffery Winter Construction, Maxim Chassis, and Hampshire Racing Engines will all be back on classic white No.63 sprinter for 2012.  If anyone is interested in a sponsorship package with Chad Kemenah Racing please contact Tracy Kemenah at tracykemenah@hotmail.com we are looking forward to the 2012 World of Outlaws Season.  Happy Holidays Everyone.

2012 Plans For Chad Kemenah

By: Joe Burrage

The 2011 World of Outlaws season is coming to an end tonight at the Dirt Track at Charlotte located in Concord, North Carolina and the 2012 season will be here very soon.

Chad Kemenah has not made any 2012 plans right now but the Four Time All Star Series Champion is looking for a competitive ride next year.  Kemenah has owned his own race team for the past two years and has competed against the World of Outlaws night in and night out but running his own team has begun to take its toll financially.  Kemenah will finish out the season in his own Chad Kemenah Racing No.63 machine and return home to Findlay, Ohio immediately and begin his search for a new ride.

If anyone is interested in contacting Chad Kemenah please email tracykemenah@hotmail.com for any questions or call Chad’s cell number at 419-348-2222.  We want to thank all of our fans that have supported us for the past couple of years and hopefully we can land a good ride for the upcoming season and still see everyone at the races.

Kemenah Ready For The National Open

By: Joe Burrage

Over the years Chad Kemenah has had difficult time racing at the Williams Grove Speedway located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.  The Findlay, Ohio driver has always liked racing at the famous ½ mile during his career and winning the 49th Annual Morgan Hughes National Sanctioned by the World of Outlaws is an event Kemenah would love to capture before his racing career is over.

Kemenah and crew member Adam Brough have been working really hard at the shop the past couple of weeks getting everything they need in order to go out and win races.  The Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks, Hampshire Racing Engines, MS Motorsports, Key State Ag Service, Maxim rolled to tenth place finish at Eldora Speedway last weekend and the following night at the Lernerville Speedway everything that could go wrong went wrong for Kemenah and Brough.

“Last weekend we ran tenth at Eldora and the car started to feel really good with a handful of laps remaining,” said Kemenah.  “We held our own for most of the feature and then the car decided it was time to go and if the feature would have been 40-Laps we might have had a top five finish.  I don’t even know what to say about Lernerville it was a bad night plain and simple.”

Kemenah and Brough returned home to Ohio and started to build a new car on Monday morning for the $50,000 to win 49th Annual Morgan Hughes National Open that takes place this Friday and Saturday night.  Kemenah had a great run going at the Summer Nationals earlier in the year, the No.63 sprinter was running down the top three cars in a big way before mechanical problems forced Kemenah pit side.

“When we were here back in July the car felt great every time we hit the racing surface,” says Kemenah.  “Williams Grove is one of the hardest places in the country to race at and I feel pretty confident about our chances this weekend at the National Open.  We have been qualifying really well this year and we need to be on point from start to finish if we are going to win this thing.  Tom and Fran Chiapelli of Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks, Kevin Grubb of Key State Ag Service will be with us this weekend and I want to have to a good weekend for them and all of our sponsors because they have stuck with us this entire year.”

Be sure to listen to live coverage of this weekends 49th Annual Williams National Open at www.dirtvision.com and you can also follow Chad Kemenah on Twitter at CKR_63 for live updates as the night unfolds from the Williams Grove Speedway.

Also happening on Saturday afternoon at the Williams Grove Speedway is the National Open Benefit For Injured Drivers.  Chad Kemenah has donated a wing panel to be auctioned off for the Injured Drivers Fund and he also will be signing autographs during the event as well.  Please be sure to visit this special event on Saturday afternoon.
