Ocala, FL. – (February 4, 2010) – Chad Kemenah has been extremely busy the past couple of months getting everything in place to kick off the 2010 racing season. Kemenah and his newly acquired crew member Cale Powers got everything in place ahead of schedule and the Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks No.63 sprinter was in All Star competition Friday night at the very tricky Ocala Speedway in Ocala, Florida.
As the night started to cool off at the racing action was just about to begin. Kemenah did not get the qualifying lap he was looking for and the Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks No.63 machine would start on the pole of the second heat race. Kemenah would take advantage of his starting position and jump into the early lead and not look back as he dominated the second heat race and earn a transfer spot into the 25-Lap A-Main later in the evening.
After the heat race was completed Kemenah and crew member Cale Powers quickly became spectators keeping an eye on the very tricky 3/8 mile as the track slowly started to change. From there Kemenah and Powers would make their final adjustments on the car and Kemenah was pushed off for battle where he would start in the 21st position.
The green lights came on around the Ocala Speedway and Kemenah started to make his way forward immediately by using the bottom of the track to his advantage. After a few laps Kemenah would settle into a groove finding multiple racing lines around the tight and narrow 3/8 mile allowing him to move everywhere on the track. With only a few caution flags during the 25-Lap feature everything seemed to working just fine for the Findlay, Ohio driver as the car kept getting faster as the race progressed.
Just past the half-way point of the race Kemenah continued to use the bottom and the top of the race track to his advantage as the Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks No.63 sprinter continued to make its way to the front. In the closing stages of the feature Kemenah would take advantage of a green, white, checkered situation to cross the finish line in 11th position to start the 2010 season.
“We were moving pretty good in the feature,” said Kemenah. “Cale and I made some key changes to the car before the A-Main and the car responded really well, I would have liked to finish in the top ten but we will take this finish and move on. We have a lot of support this year from Tom and Fran Chiappelli of Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks, Mark Stockinger of MS Motorsports, Hampshire Racing Engines, Kears Speed Shop, Maxim Chassis, Real Racing Wheels, Banshee Graphics, and Media Camping Center. We want to have a good year for them and put this car in victory lane a lot in 2010.”

Up Next: Chad Kemenah will be back in action against the All Stars at the Volusia Speedway Park on February 3-4. From there Kemenah will kick off his World of Outlaws season at Volusia Speedway Park on February 5-7.
Kemenah At Volusia: 2010 will be the first time Chad Kemenah tackles the World of Outlaws tour as a car owner, but the Findlay, Ohio pilot has had some success at the big ½ mile in the Sunshine State in recent years. In 2006 Kemenah picked up his second career World of Outlaws win at the Volusia Speedway Park and last year Kemenah came away with a third place finish to cap off the Florida Speedweek with the All Stars and the World of Outlaws. Be sure to keep an eye on Kemenah this weekend in Florida.
