Findlay, OH. – (July 13, 2010) – The past weekend of racing was a tough one for Chad Kemenah and crew member Adam Brough. Both of them are looking forward to returning to home soil where hopefully they can get things back on track for Brad Doty Classic at the Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio on Wednesday night.
“The past week of racing has been very stressful,” said Kemenah. “We had a good run at Brainerd and thought we were going to turn a corner and disaster struck at LaSalle, Illinois on Thursday where we destroyed a car. We had two tough runs in Wisconsin but Adam and I are staying very upbeat and positive so our luck has to change sooner or later.”
Every year the World of Outlaws schedule starts to really pick up at the mid point of July and this is the perfect time for Kemenah to get things back on track. Wednesday night the Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks, Hampshire Racing Engines, MS Motorsports, Maxim, No.63 will be back in action at the high banked ¼ mile at Limaland Motorsports Park. Kemenah has always liked racing at Limaland but this race is extra special because of former driver Brad Doty and what he has done for this sport.
“Brad Doty has done nothing but positive things for sprint car racing,” says Kemenah. “Brad could drive with the best of them and I always enjoy talking to him when he is at the races, and I would love to be in victory lane with him at the end of the night if everything goes according to plan for us.”
After the conclusion of the Brad Doty Classic, Kemenah will return home to his shop and regroup for Kings Royal. The Kings Royal weekend has always been a favorite of Kemenah, as a matter of fact Kemenah has nearly won the prestigious event a couple of times. The four time All Star Champion has had a tremendous amount of success at the famous ½ mile in the past. Kemenah has finished inside the top five at the $50,000 to win feature three times.
Back in 2004 driving for Harble Motorsports Team Kemenah grabbed his career best third place finish at the Kings Royal. The following year in 2005 Kemenah again showed he can be consistent and run with the best drivers in the country and crossed the finish line in the ninth position. The final year in the No.15K machine (2006) Kemenah was able to crack the top five again by finishing in the fifth position. Joining forces with the Kantor Oil Team Kemenah was able to match his career best third place finish in 2008 and the Findlay, Ohio driver certainly feels confident he can get things done at the Eldora Speedway.
“I have always loved racing at the Eldora Speedway,” said Kemenah. “I have always felt very comfortable at Eldora and we have run up front before at the Royal so were looking forward to a good weekend. Tom and Fran Chiappelli of Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks will be here this weekend along with Mark Stockinger of MS Motorsports so we really want to have a good showing for them and our whole team.”
