Chad Kemenah is back at the Knoxville Raceway to compete at the 50th Annual Knoxville Nationals. The four time All Star champion has had some success at the famous ½ mile over the years and even finished in the second position at the 2004 Nationals aboard the Harble Motorsports No.15K. Fast forward to the 2010 World of Outlaws season and Kemenah is tackling a whole deal with being a car owner/driver for the first time.
“I really can’t put a finger on what exactly has been going on this season,” says Kemenah. “Owning your own team is a lot different than driving for someone else and results have to be good. We have the help from a lot of great people to make this whole thing work and I can’t them enough. The Knoxville Nationals are always fun and intense, everyone brings their best equipment to this one race and you never know what can happen.”
Kemenah is scheduled to race on Wednesday night and the Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks, Hampshire Engines, MS Motorsports; Maxim will be ready to go. The 2010 season has been a tough one for Kemenah but his confidence level still remains very high after the strange turn of events has happened over the past couple of weeks. Also joining Kemenah this weekend are Tom and Fran Chiapelli of Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks and Mark Stockinger (MS Motorsports) will all be at the Knoxville Nationals supporting Kemenah 100%.
“The 50th Annual Knoxville Nationals is a huge race,” says Kemenah. “Tom and Fran Chiapelli of Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks will be here along with Mark Stockinger of MS Motorsports and they have been a tremendous help to our race team this year. If we can put together a run, and lock ourselves into the 50-Lap, A-Main on Saturday night that might be all we need to turn this season around for us. The Knoxville Nationals is always full of surprises and crazy things have happened over the years, this Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks No.63 car is ready to race.”
